“We have been on a few excursions with Captain Eric and could not have asked for a better captain. He is very knowledgeable of the area and we were very comfortable during the excursions. Lots of room on the boat.
Our first excursion Captain Eric took us on a tour of the Canals and to Charlotte Harbor.
Our second excursion we went to Boca Grande/Gasparilla and Cayo Costa islands. Captain Eric took us to a sandbar where there is action for those who want to live it up a little or to a secluded island for a more relaxing experience.
Captain Eric is very focused and observant when driving the boat. Each trip he spotted dolphins and stopped the boat so we could watch them.

“I rarely write reviews. I have to tell you our experience. I called him at 3:30 after another company said it was too late. he said if we met him 30 minutes from our location (1/2 way) he could make it happen. To go on a sunset cruise. We could not make the timeframe (we had a one year old granddaughter with us) he met us 10 minutes from our location we grabbed a pizza a byob and had an excellent time with great conversation and beautiful sunset pics! Captain Eric was the best absolutely recommend!”

“We wanted a side excursion on the water when staying at the Sunseeker back in June ’24. We ran across Captain Eric when looking for a private boating adventure, and so glad we did. We took a day trip out to Cayo Costa State Park, checking out the gulf side, and the bay side. While swimming on the gulf side, a manatee swim right in front of and below us! Captain Eric was even able to capture it on camera from the boat! He was a great guide, very hospitable, and would definitely recommend him while in Punta Gorda, Charlotte Harbor area. Would (will) certainly seek him out again if we go back to that area!”

“Today we took a fabulous five hour tour with Capt Eric w/Charlotte Harbor Boat Excursions. We initially booked for four hours for 6 people to go to Cayo Costa with Pickup at Riviera Bar & Grill. We brought our own drinks and food and planned to sit on the beach and go shelling in two locations. Then we added on an extra hour and stopped at Cabbage Cay, which was such a treat. Captain Eric is personable, knowledgeable and a great host. We had taken a 90 minute Charlotte Harbor tour in a much larger boat from Fisherman’s Wharf earlier in the month and we all agreed that the private boat tour (where you determine your destination and length) was well worth the extra money.
